Selection Dutch Architect Office for Shenzhen International Competition

During the period of December 2017 to January 2018, Shenzhen Urban Planning & Design Research Institute was looking for a famous Dutch Architectural firm to cooperate in order to join the international competition for Qianhai Area, Shenzhen.

This competition is organized by Shenzhen Qianhai Project Bureau. It is about an area called “City’s Living Room” – Qianhai which has a 50 ha surface and is situated at the west corner of the City Shenzhen. The competition includes urban designs for a green as and the water front, but also requires a research (programme) for a group of public buildings such as theatre, museums and conference centre. The competition is only for three invited architectural office from overall in the world.

Giving the commission by Shenzhen Urban Planning & Design Research Institute, East West Urban has advised several suitable famous Dutch companies (KCAP, Mecanoo & MVRDV) to Shenzhen to form the coalition to join the competition.
