As the key expert of EC-LINK (Europe -China Eco Cities Link Project) on sustainable urban planning, East West Urban Consultancy has been on charge for the following cooperation and exchange in the field of sustainable urban development. In 2018 The exchange has  emphasized on green building, resilient/sponge city development. Chinese and WU cities have been intensively involved,such as Zhuhai, Guilin, Zhuzhou, Qingdao and Amsterdam, Bologna, Valencia, Hamburg and Berlin.

Under the leader of International Cooperation Department of Building Energy and Science & Technology, Ministry of Housing & Urban Rural Development, a delegation formed by different Chinese city urban planning departments’ representatives has officially visited the Dutch Ministry of Interior and Kingdom Relationship in mid –September.

East & West Urban Consultancy has initiated with Beijing Urban Planning & Design Research Institute for a project Urban Regeneration Strategy for Built Areas (1950–2000) in Beijing. Together with Beijing University of Technology, BGSV Urban Planning, Molenaar & Co Architects, TU Delft and Stedplan, we have formed a kern group who will take actions in Beijing. We have submitted our project proposal for the Dutch Creative Industrial Fund in January 2017.
